Ocean’s Four is a project of BPI-CFE, consisting of four 18-storey residential towers. The project was designed by Conix Architects and the local architect Pomorskie Biuro Projektowe GEL. We conceived the design of the façades of the towers and provided aesthetical advice for the entire project.

In this project were inspired by existing elements of the surroundings, characterized by an urban density in the proximity of the ocean.

Our basis concept was to create a visible differentiation between the 4 towers, using a different rhythm of materials and window openings. The continuous element of perforated skin which passes through all towers on variable height maintains one identity for the volumes.

The extra cubic volume consisting of perimeter terraces on the top of each tower offers spectacular views. Terraces with greenery are the translation of the dialog between urbanization and nature.

In order to avoid the effect of a mass wall, chameleon panels are used on the visible façade from the main street. Their color varies together with the point of observation. In this way, the building acts a chameleon in relation to its surroundings.

The completion of stage I of the project has been planned for the last quarter of 2011.
